About me
Bonjour!
My name is Emilie, and I am a certified and experienced native French teacher, living in the beautiful Blue Mountains since 2021.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Philology (Linguistics and Culture) and a master’s degree in Education, and Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE). I worked in Spain as a preschool and primary school teacher. Back to France, I worked in a primary school, and then taught French to adults in the Alliance Française of Lyon for 8 years, as a teacher and an examiner for the TCF, TCF Canada, DELF and DALF diplomas.
I arrived in Sydney in 2018 and taught the NSW curriculum in French to primary school kids, and French history and preparation for French exams to high school kids.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve enjoyed teaching toddlers, kids, teenagers and adults and realized that I love working with students of all ages and backgrounds! I really enjoy teaching practical French in a safe, creative and fun environment, but also in a challenging way, empowering my students to develop their language skills.
Now, I am a part of the beautiful Australian community of the Blue Mountains and wanting to share and teach my language with passion.
